HASTELLOY S Rod – Material Overview

HASTELLOY S rod offers outstanding thermal stability and low thermal expansion, making it ideal for components subjected to severe thermal cycling. It maintains excellent oxidation resistance up to 2000°F (1093°C) and retains strength and ductility after prolonged exposure to temperatures ranging from 800°F to 1600°F (427°C to 871°C). This alloy is particularly suitable for applications requiring materials that can withstand severe cyclical heating conditions while maintaining structural integrity.
