Description

ERNi-1 welding wire is a nickel-based filler metal specifically engineered for welding pure nickel (Ni 200/201) and nickel alloys, offering exceptional resistance to alkaline and high-temperature corrosion. Composed of a minimum 93% nickel content with titanium stabilization (2.0–3.5%), this wire minimizes carbon reactivity to prevent sensitization and intergranular attack in corrosive environments such as chemical processing, marine engineering, and thermal power plants. Its low iron (≤1%) and sulfur (≤0.015%) content ensures clean, crack-free welds with tensile strength exceeding 414 MPa and elongation ≥20%, making it ideal for applications requiring durability under cyclic thermal stress.

Certified to AWS A5.14 and ASME SFA-5.14 standards, ERNi-1 excels in gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and submerged arc welding (SAW) when paired with INCOFLUX 6 flux. The alloy’s versatility extends to joining nickel alloys with stainless steel, carbon steel, and copper-nickel alloys, ensuring robust metallurgical compatibility in mixed-material systems. With a melting range of 1,370–1,430°C and thermal conductivity of 14.8 W/m·K, it maintains stability in high-temperature operations up to 600°C, outperforming conventional stainless steel wires in aggressive media like chlorides and alkalis.
