1.Product Introduction Gold Separation Equipment
The Small-Scale Gold Mining Trommel is a compact, high-efficiency washing plant designed for artisanal miners and small cooperatives. It is specifically engineered to handle the "dirty" work of gold mining—breaking down tough clay and washing gravels—in a package that is easy to transport to remote claims. While simple in design, it is a significant upgrade over manual panning or basic sluicing, as it automates the most labor-intensive part of mining: the classification and scrubbing of raw ore. This ensures that every bit of gold is freed from the dirt before it hits your recovery system.
2.Application Gold Separation Equipment
Artisanal Placer Mining: Primary processing of riverbed gravels and hillside deposits.
Exploration & Sampling: Quickly testing the "color" of a new claim to determine if a larger plant is needed.
Tailings Recovery: Re-processing old waste piles from previous miners to catch fine gold they may have missed.
Small-Scale Beach Mining: Separating heavy minerals and gold from fine coastal sands.
3.Working Principle Gold Separation Equipment
The Hopper & Feed: Raw material is shoveled into the hopper. A "spray bar" immediately hits the material with water to begin the liquefaction process.
The Scrubbing Zone: As the drum rotates, internal "baffles" or lifters pick up the rocks and drop them. This mechanical energy, combined with water, dissolves clay balls that often hide small gold flakes.
Classification: The drum features a screen (typically 1/4" or 1/2" holes). The gold and fine sand fall through these holes into the "undersize" chute, while the large, clean rocks are tumbled out the end as "oversize" waste.
The Recovery Circuit: The gold-bearing slurry flows out of the undersize chute and into a sluice box or a small centrifugal concentrator, where the heavy gold is trapped in specialized matting.

Low Water Usage: Designed to work with small 2-inch or 3-inch pumps; some models can even be set up to recycle water in a closed-loop pond system.
Ease of Use: Most units use simple 5HP to 10HP gas engines or small electric motors that are easy to maintain with basic mechanical knowledge.
Improved Recovery: By providing a consistent feed and perfectly sized material to your sluice, you drastically reduce the amount of gold "blown out" by improper water flow.
