1.Product Introduction Gold Separation Equipment
The 10 TPH (Tons Per Hour) Gold Trommel is the "sweet spot" for professional artisanal miners and small-scale commercial operations. It is designed to bridge the gap between small sampling units and large industrial plants. At this capacity, the machine is large enough to be fed by a mini-excavator or skid-steer, significantly increasing production over manual loading, yet compact enough to be moved on a single-axle trailer or small truck. It is optimized for high-efficiency recovery of fine gold from alluvial sands and gravels, featuring a robust scrubbing action that ensures no gold stays trapped in dirt or clay.
2.Application Gold Separation Equipment
Small-Scale Commercial Mining: The primary production unit for small teams working 5–10 acre claims.
Bulk Sampling: Used by larger companies to process 50–100 ton samples to accurately determine gold "grade" per cubic meter.
Riverbank Operations: Ideal for processing gold-bearing gravels in remote areas with limited footprint space.
Tailings Cleanup: Perfectly sized for re-running old waste piles to capture fine gold lost by older, inefficient sluice operations.
3.Working Principle Gold Separation Equipment
Hopper Feed: Raw material is fed into the hopper, where a primary spray nozzle begins the "slurrying" process.
Aggressive Tumble: The 10 TPH drum (typically ~600mm x 1500mm) rotates at an optimized RPM. Internal lifter bars pick up the gravel and drop it, breaking apart "clay balls" that act as "gold thieves."
Two-Stage Classification: The drum usually features a heavy-duty screen. Fines (-6mm to -10mm) pass through to the recovery system, while the "oversize" rocks are washed clean and ejected out the back.
Integrated Sluice Recovery: The gold-rich slurry flows onto a 3-meter to 4-meter sluice box lined with specialized miners' moss and expanded metal riffles to trap the heavy gold particles.
4.Advantages Gold Separation Equipment
Perfect Capacity for Small Crews: Processes roughly 6–8 cubic meters per hour, matching the digging speed of a 1.5 to 3-ton mini-excavator.
Fuel Efficiency: Typically powered by a small 5HP–8HP diesel or gas engine, consuming very little fuel (approx. 1–1.5 liters per hour).
High Portability: Can be easily loaded into a pickup truck or towed, making it ideal for moving between different "hot spots" on a claim.
Water Efficiency: Requires a standard 2-inch or 3-inch trash pump (approx. 300–500 liters per minute), making it easy to manage water supply in remote areas.
Heavy-Duty Build: Despite its size, it uses industrial-grade rollers and 4mm–6mm steel plate construction to handle the constant abrasion of river rocks.
