Copper Lithium Ore Ball Mill
1.Product Introduction
The Copper and Lithium Ore Ball Mill is a high-efficiency grinding machine specifically designed for metallic ores such as copper and lithium. Featuring a horizontal cylindrical rotating structure, it is equipped with high-wear-resistant liners (such as high-manganese steel) and steel ball media. It facilitates the continuous processing of ore from coarse crushing to fine grinding. Supporting both wet and dry grinding methods, this equipment is suitable for medium to high-hardness ores and serves as a critical grinding unit in mineral processing plants.
2.Application
Metallic Ore Processing: Widely used in the beneficiation circuits of copper, lithium, gold, iron, and manganese ores as primary grinding or regrinding equipment.
Non-Metallic Mineral Processing: Applicable for the ultra-fine grinding of non-metallic minerals like quartz, feldspar, and calcite.
Industrial Sectors: Suitable for raw material grinding in the cement, chemical, glass, and ceramic industries.
3.Working Principle
The ball mill is driven by an electric motor through a reducer, which rotates the cylinder at a low speed. Ore is fed uniformly into the cylinder via the feeding device, which is filled with steel balls as grinding media.
Lifting & Impact: Under the influence of centrifugal and frictional forces, the steel balls are lifted to a certain height and then dropped, exerting an impact and grinding effect on the ore.
Two-Stage Grinding: In a double-chamber structure, coarse grinding is completed in the first chamber, after which the material passes through a diaphragm plate into the second chamber for fine grinding.
Discharge: Finally, materials meeting the particle size requirements are discharged through a grate plate or overflow outlet, forming either a slurry or dry powder.
