Refractory gold ore grinding solution
1.Product Introduction
The core equipment of a Refractory Gold Ore Grinding Solution is the High-Performance Ball Mill or Rod Mill, which is frequently paired with classification equipment (such as hydrocyclones) to form a closed-circuit grinding system. This setup is designed to achieve efficient and stable ultra-fine pulverization.
2.Application
Pre-treatment of Refractory Gold Ore: Primarily used for ores where gold is encapsulated in sulfides or hindered by carbonaceous matter, such as Carlin-type gold deposits.
Gold Concentrate Processing: Before roasting or bio-oxidation, gold concentrates are ground to -200 mesh or finer to increase the reactive specific surface area.
Large-scale Gold Smelters: Serves as the core grinding unit in the ore processing flow, suitable for medium-to-large industrial production scales.
3.Working Principle
Feeding: Crushed gold ore or gold concentrate enters the mill.
Grinding: As the mill cylinder rotates, the internal steel balls (in ball mills) or steel rods (in rod mills) are lifted to a specific height by centrifugal and frictional forces. Upon falling, they apply impact and attrition forces to the ore.
Liberation: Continuous mechanical action crushes and dissociates sulfide minerals (such as pyrite and arsenopyrite) that encapsulate gold particles, exposing the microscopic gold.
Classification: The ground product enters classification equipment. Coarse particles are returned to the mill for regrinding, while fine particles that meet the target size proceed to the next stage (such as roasting or leaching).
