Q1: Why is 200KN of pressure necessary for dishwasher tablets? Can standard pharma tablet presses do this?
Standard pharmaceutical tablet presses typically offer only 40 KN - 80KN of pressure, which is insufficient for dishwasher tablets. Dishwasher powders consist of large-granule chemicals (like sodium carbonate and phosphates) that require high density and structural strength to prevent crumbling. Our 200KN (20-ton) heavy-duty main pressure, combined with a large pre-compression system, ensures the powder particles are densely bonded, delivering a robust tablet with clean edges that won't break during transit.
Q2: Dishwasher detergent powders are highly corrosive. How does this machine resist wear and corrosion?
We take anti-corrosion very seriously. Contact Parts: All parts in direct contact with the powder (hoppers, force feeders, scrapers, and table surfaces) are made of premium SUS316L stainless steel instead of standard SUS304. Special Coating: The turret surface and die table can be treated with specialized anti-wear/anti-corrosion coatings (by chromium plating). Sealed Cabinet: The mechanical driving cabinet is completely isolated from the compression zone to prevent corrosive dust from damaging internal gears and bearings.
Q3: Can this machine produce bi-layer or tri-layer (multi-color) dishwasher tablets?
Yes, absolutely. This machine can be customized with dual-feed or triple-feed systems and independent powder hoppers to produce bi-layer or tri-layer tablets (such as the classic blue, white, and red design). The system features advanced suction nozzles to clean the die surface between layers, ensuring razor-sharp color boundaries without cross-contamination.
Q4: Dishwasher powder is often sticky and has poor flowability. How do you ensure consistent filling?
We equip the machine with heavy-duty, dual-impeller force feeders instead of gravity feeders. The paddle speed and geometry inside the force feeder are specifically optimized for dense, sluggish, and sticky chemical powders. This guarantees that every die cavity is filled uniformly and consistently, even during high-speed rotation.
Q5: How do we prevent "capping" or "lamination" (the tablet splitting into layers) under such high pressure?
Capping and lamination are usually caused by air trapped inside the loose powder during fast compression. Our machine solves this with a heavy-duty pre-compression roller (up to 50KN). The pre-compression stage gently squeezes the air out of the powder first, and then the 200KN main roller performs the final compaction. This dual-stage compression is key to producing flawless, crack-free tablets.
Q6: What is the maximum tablet size this machine can produce?
Because of the immense 200KN pressure capacity, the machine can comfortably compress large-format tablets. Under standard configurations, it can produce tablets with a diameter or diagonal length of up to 40mm-45mm (such as standard rectangular 36x26mm dishwasher tablets).
