Founded in June 2003, Haining Big Red Horse New Materials Co., Ltd. is located at No. 27 Hongqi Avenue, Haining Warp Knitting Industrial Park, Zhejiang Province. Leveraging the industrial advantages of the “China Warp Knitting Capital,” the company has grown over more than two decades into a professional manufacturer integrating knitted fabric production and the R&D of water-based coated new materials.
Knitting as the Foundation, with Solid Technical Expertise
Knitted products are the cornerstone of the company’s business. We have long focused on the R&D and production of various knitted fabrics, excelling in weft knitting and warp knitting processes. Our product range includes polyester, polyester-spandex, and other series, widely used in sportswear, yoga wear, outdoor equipment, and more. Consistent quality and mature manufacturing techniques have not only won market recognition but also provided strong support for the development of base fabrics for our water-based products.
Technological Transformation and Green Innovation
Building on our traditional knitting business, the company launched a water-based polyurethane suede product R&D project in 2010, independently tackling equipment selection, base fabric adaptation, and resin formulation. We filed an invention patent in 2012, which was officially granted in April 2014, making us one of the earliest enterprises in China to master core water-based suede leather technology.
Currently, the company operates a dedicated coating production line, and our water-based polyurethane suede products offer three core advantages:
Eco-friendly: Free of DMF, TOL, MEK, or any other organic solvents, eliminating harmful substances at the source.
No color migration: Excellent color stability, suitable for dark and vibrant color applications.

Factory Equipment & Scale
In terms of hardware, the company operates a high-performance coating machine as its core equipment, supplemented by precision sanding machines, high-accuracy digital inkjet printers, and professional fabric inspection equipment. This ensures stable mass production of water-based suede products and enables deep customization from texture treatment to pattern sampling, guaranteeing finished product quality in all aspects.
Design & R&D Capabilities

| Production Line: | Weft Knitting Production Line: Precision Weaving, Stable and Efficient The company's weft knitting workshop is equipped with a range of high-performance circular weft knitting machines, including single-knit, double-knit, and ribbed models, capable of flexibly meeting production requirements for different fabric weights, widths, and structures. Starting with yarn incoming inspection, the production line strictly follows standardized procedures: yarn is first cleaned and tension‑equalized through automatic winding and dust removal systems; then, based on process specifications, materials such as polyester and spandex are fed into the machines for knitting. The weft knitting process uses needles to bend, loop, and interlock the yarn sequentially, forming a horizontally oriented loop structure that gives the fabric excellent elasticity, softness, and dimensional stability. During production, online tension monitoring systems and fabric defect detection devices work in real time, automatically alerting and recording anomalies to ensure consistent quality throughout continuous knitting. The workshop is also equipped with intelligent yarn feeding and batching systems, enabling full traceability from knitting to fabric doffing. After knitting, the grey fabric is transported via enclosed conveyor lines to the heat‑setting stage, where high‑temperature setting eliminates internal stress and stabilizes fabric width. Each batch undergoes physical performance tests (e.g., bursting strength, shrinkage, color fastness) to ensure the finished fabric meets the high standards required for sportswear, yoga wear, and outdoor equipment. Thanks to the deep integration of automation and information technology, the weft knitting production line achieves higher output while significantly reducing common defects such as broken yarn and barre marks, providing a stable and uniform base fabric for subsequent water‑based coating and further processing. |
