BZ-6118-8R is a two-part polyurethane potting compound developed for sealing, insulating, and protecting automotive lamps, outdoor LED luminaires, and modules. It combines fast curing, UL94 V0/V1 flame resistance, and high rigidity to boost production efficiency while delivering robust mechanical protection. Fully compliant with RoHS and REACH, it operates reliably across -40°C to 120°C, with thermal conductivity ≥0.5 W/m·k and surface resistivity ≥1.0×10¹³ Ω/sq, ensuring long-term stability in demanding lighting applications.
Flame Safety – UL94 V1 Certified: rated UL94 V1, curbing flame spread in enclosed or high-risk luminaires.
Fast Cure – Boosts Throughput: tack-free in 1.5±0.5 h, fully cured in 2.5±0.5 h at 25°C; 60°C oven cure in ≤0.5 h, ideal for volume production.
Tough & Shock-Absorbing: shore D 52±10, tensile ≥4 MPa, elongation ≥45%, dampening vibration and impact from transit or outdoor exposure.
Thermal Conductivity – Aids LED Cooling: ≥0.5 W/m·k, facilitating heat dissipation in high-power LED modules.
Simple 1:5 Ratio – Minimizes Waste: low-error metering (A:B = 1:5), compatible with automated dispensing lines.
