Before the HDPE pipe extrusion line runs smoothly to extrude pipes, workers need to start the machine and adjust every detail during the process. This process produces many wasted PE melt lumps that form large, hard blocks. These cannot be processed by crushers and require specialized shredding equipment.
Our single shaft shredder features high rotation speed and shaped knives. Workers feed wasted melt lumps through the input port, and processed particles discharge from the outlet.
We offer two configurations of single shaft shredders: sliding port shredder and upper port shredder. Both types share the same motor and internal structure while providing different feeding options.
Plastic single shaft shredders are designed for pre-crushing challenging materials including sacks, jumbo bags, tires, cable, and yarn that are difficult to process in granulators. Pre-crushing materials enhances granulator capacity and extends the lifespan of both the granulator and its blades.
Materials pre-crushed by rotating and fixed blades can be further processed into desired sizes using granulators. The system includes automatic stop, reverse direction operation, and alarm functions to handle material jamming, metal detection, and overload situations.
Available production capacities include 300kg/hr, 500kg/hr, and 1000kg/hr configurations.
