Fluke 9530 — 3.2 GHz Fast-Edge/Leveled-Sine Active Head

 

Designed for the Fluke 9500B oscilloscope calibrator, the 9530 active head brings 3.2 GHz leveled-sine generation and ultra-clean 150 ps / 500 ps edges right to the oscilloscope input. The head’s three-path, surface-mount design produces 5 mV–3 V signals with ppm-level flatness, revealing gain droop, slew-rate limits and time-base errors on modern 2–3 GHz scopes in a single connection. Active-Head Technology embeds control electronics in the connector, so amplitude, polarity and edge mode are set from the 9500B front panel or over GPIB/RS-232, eliminating manual recalibration. With auto-ID, hot-swap capability and support for up to five identical heads, the 9530 streamlines multi-channel verification, cuts setup time and retains traceable accuracy between services—delivering metrology-grade performance at a pre-owned price point.
