Equipment Overview
The QUV UV aging testing machine simulates sunlight, rain, and dew to accelerate material degradation. Materials are exposed to alternating light and moisture cycles. Testing for days or weeks replicates months or years of outdoor exposure. Damage assessment includes: bleaching, discoloration, gloss loss, powdering, cracking, turbidity, bubbling, embrittlement, strength reduction, and oxidation.

Sunlight Simulation
Material durability damage primarily results from solar ultraviolet radiation. UV lamps simulate short-wave ultraviolet spectrum with minimal visible or infrared energy. Different UV lamp types available for specific testing requirements.

UVA-340: Excellent simulation of short-wave UV sunlight from 365nm to 295nm cutoff wavelength.
UVB-313: Provides stronger short-wave UV radiation than terrestrial sunlight for accelerated aging, ideal for quality control and R&D.
UVA-351: Simulates UV sunlight through windows, effective for indoor material aging tests.
Moisture Condensation Environment
Simulates outdoor dew conditions (up to 12 hours daily). Unique condensation system uses heated water reservoir to generate steam, maintaining 100% relative humidity. Sample temperature differentials create continuous condensation cycles.
Precise Temperature Control
Accurate temperature regulation throughout testing cycles accelerates aging while ensuring test reproducibility. Temperature monitoring via board thermometer.
Water Spray System
12-nozzle system (6 per side) simulates rainfall and thermal shock conditions. Short spray cycles create rapid cooling for thermal shock simulation and mechanical erosion testing.
Irradiation Intensity Control
Optional light intensity control system enables precise, reproducible results. Feedback loop device extends fluorescent lamp life while maintaining consistent radiation levels.
