General Information:
AC Hipot testing is the most effective and direct method for evaluating the insulation strength of electrical equipment, apparatus, and machinery. It identifies hazardous flaws to ensure the safe and continuous operation of electrical systems. Typical applications include testing transformers, switchgear, cables, capacitors, aerial lift platforms, hot sticks, insulating buckets, vacuum bottles, and related safety equipment such as insulating blankets, ropes, gloves, hydraulic hoses, instrument transformers, and generators.
