They are ideal for automated placement due to their glass-passivated chip junction and high forward surge capability. These diodes meet MSL level 1, per J-STD-020, with a maximum peak of 260 C. Typical applications include power supplies, inverters, converters, and freewheeling diodes for consumer and telecommunication equipment.
