The Cross-Beam Area Sensor features a minimized blind zone achieved through a 3-point cross-beam netting method, offering a long sensing distance of 1 to 7 meters. It provides a wide range of model choices, with variations in the number of optical axes (4 to 20), optical axis pitch (40mm or 80mm), and sensing width (120mm to 1,040mm). The sensor includes an installation mode for easy setup, built-in interference protection, and a self-diagnosis function. The self-diagnosis output indicates front screen contamination and optical axis obstruction, allowing for status monitoring via external equipment. High-luminance indicators on the emitter and receiver ensure easy status checks from various angles and distances. This sensor is suitable for applications such as obstacle detection for subway platform screen doors (PSD) and meets Korean Railway Standard (KRS) conditions for specific models (BWC80-14HD). The protection structure is IP67 (IEC standard).
