The US-100 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor offers versatile functionality for measuring distances, operating with either 3V or 5V logic, eliminating the need for logic level shifters. It provides two distinct operating modes: HC-SR04 mode, utilizing trigger and echo pins, and Serial UART mode, communicating via 9600 baud UART. In UART mode, it can report distance in millimeters (0x55 command) or temperature in degrees Celsius (0x50 command). This sensor is suitable for robotics, automation, interactive art, and motion sensing applications, with an effective detection range of 10cm to 250cm, and a maximum range of 2cm to 450cm. It is compatible with Arduino, CircuitPython, and MakeCode.
