The TMD4903 is a versatile module integrating Color Sensing (RGB), Ambient Light Sensing (ALS), Proximity Detection, and an IRBeam optical pattern generator. It is designed for applications such as light color temperature measurement, ambient light sensing for display brightness control, cell phone touch screen disable, printed barcode emulation, and universal remote control. Key advantages include high sensitivity, ideal performance behind dark glass, a wide dynamic range, adaptive proximity detection with crosstalk cancellation and ambient light rejection, and a low-profile optical module with an integrated LED and advanced driver. The IRBeam pattern generator supports mobeam barcode emulation and universal remote control with a 2048-bit RAM for pattern storage.
