The AS7026GG is an advanced biosensor module that leverages photoplethysmography (PPG) and electrocardiogram (ECG) technologies to provide comprehensive health monitoring capabilities. It is designed to measure pulse rate, heart rate variability (HRV), and continuous blood pressure, with optimizations for cuff-less blood pressure measurement according to IEEE Std 1708-2014. The module integrates LEDs, a photo-sensor, an analog front-end (AFE), and a sequencer, along with application software. It also supports skin temperature and skin resistivity measurements through interfaces for external sensors. Its low-power design and compact form factor make it ideal for space-constrained applications such as fitness bands, smartwatches, sports watches, and smart patches, enabling extended multi-day operation between battery recharges.
