The AS7341 is an 11-channel spectral sensor frontend designed for spectral identification and color matching applications in mobile devices. It covers wavelengths from approximately 350nm to 1000nm, with 8 optical channels in the visible spectrum, one near-infrared (NIR) channel, and a clear channel. The device also integrates a dedicated channel for detecting 50Hz or 60Hz ambient light flicker. It offers parallel processing of 6 channels via independent ADCs and access to other channels through a multiplexer. The AS7341 utilizes Nano-optic deposited interference filter technology on standard CMOS silicon and includes a built-in aperture for light control. Control and spectral data access are managed via a serial IC interface. Its ultra-low profile package (3.1mm x 2mm x 1mm) makes it suitable for space-constrained mobile applications.
