The AK9710AEF3A is a compact mid-infrared quantum photo diode crafted from InSb, leveraging AKM's proprietary compound semiconductor technology to operate effectively at room temperature. This device offers high sensitivity, rapid response times, and robust reliability. It features an integrated optical band-pass filter specifically designed for detecting wavelengths of 3.9m, making it ideally suited for Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) gas sensing applications. The AK9710AEF3A provides a signal-to-noise ratio three times higher than conventional thermopiles and requires no bias voltage, simplifying integration into various gas sensor designs for CO2, CH4, CO, and other gases.
