The LM75A/B/C is an industrial-standard digital temperature sensor and thermal monitor designed for general system thermal management. It offers accurate temperature measurement with an error of less than 1C across its operating range of -40C to +125C. Featuring an IC serial interface, it allows up to eight devices to be connected on a single bus. The sensor includes an over-temperature alarm function with programmable high and low temperature limits, enabling its use as a thermostat or over-temperature alert. With factory calibration, no additional user processing of temperature output is required, making it ideal for applications such as base stations, electronic test equipment, office electronics, and personal computers where thermal management is critical.
