The AH477A is a single-phase Hall effect latch with an integrated H-bridge output driver, designed for brushless DC motor applications. It features an on-chip Hall sensor, amplifier, comparator for noise rejection, and bi-directional drivers for high current loads. An internal bandgap regulator ensures temperature compensation and a wide operating voltage range. The device switches output states based on magnetic flux density thresholds, making it suitable for PWM power supply control speed applications in single-coil brushless DC motors and fans.
