The APS11450 is a three-wire planar Hall-effect sensor IC designed for automotive safety-related systems, compliant with ISO 26262:2011 for ASIL B capability. It features an enhanced three-wire interface with interconnect diagnostics and a fault state for robust communication. The sensor offers continuous background diagnostics, reducing fault tolerant time. Product options include various magnetic switch points, temperature coefficients, hysteresis, and response to magnetic fields, compatible with SmCo, NdFeB, or ferrite magnets. It is engineered for harsh environments with integrated protection features, reducing module BOM and assembly costs.
