The A1468 is an optimized Hall-effect sensing IC designed for digital ring-magnet sensing and ferromagnetic target sensing in three-wire applications. Its small package facilitates integration with various target shapes and sizes. The IC features dual Hall-effect elements with 2.2 mm spacing and signal processing that responds to differential magnetic signals from ring-magnet poles. It incorporates sophisticated digital circuitry for offset reduction, gain calibration for air-gap-independent switch points, and true zero-speed operation. Signal optimization occurs at power-on and is maintained through running-mode calibration, providing immunity to environmental variations. The A1468 is ideal for speed, position, and timing applications, such as in speedometers, and is available in a 4-pin SIP (suffix K) package. The package is lead (Pb) free with 100% matte-tin leadframe plating.
