Engineered for high speed and accuracy at extended ranges, it offers a compact size and remarkably low power consumption. Its robust ambient light suppression enables reliable operation in direct sunlight, and it accurately measures various surface types including white, black, colored, metallic, and retroreflective materials. The module integrates an infrared laser light source and an internal clock, requiring a single 5.0V power supply. Data communication is handled via a digital Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) with standard 3.3V CMOS levels. The sensor supports frame rates up to 3 kHz and achieves an unambiguous range of up to 200m in its dual-frequency (2f) mode. Ideal for applications in robotics, automation, security surveillance, and drone navigation, it provides precise distance and motion data.
