The TLE4966-3G is a high-sensitivity automotive Hall switch from Infineon Technologies, designed for precise applications involving rotating pole wheels. It features dual Hall probes with excellent matching and a defined Hall plate distance of 1.45mm. This integrated circuit offers a wide supply voltage range (2.7V to 24V), operation from unregulated power supplies, and high stability of magnetic switching points due to active error compensation and chopper techniques. It provides digital output signals for speed and direction detection, making it ideal for applications requiring accurate rotational sensing. The device is protected against reverse battery connection and can withstand peak temperatures up to 195C.
