The AEDR-8000 Encoder series is a reflective surface mount optical encoder designed for motion sensing in various applications. It offers a direct replacement for the HEDR-8000 series and provides single-channel incremental and two-channel quadrature outputs for direction sensing. With a single 5V supply and TTL-compatible output, it integrates an LED light source and photo-detecting circuitry in a compact package, reducing design time and ideal for high-volume, space-constrained products.
