The TLI4961-1 Hall effect latch is an integrated Hall IC switch designed for highly accurate applications requiring superior supply voltage capability and temperature stability of magnetic thresholds. It operates from a 3.0 V to 32 V supply voltage with overvoltage capability up to 42 V without an external resistor. The device features reverse polarity protection, output overcurrent and overtemperature protection, active error compensation, and high ESD performance. Its magnetic behavior as a latch, with precise switching thresholds, makes it ideal for index counting applications and rotor position detection in industrial settings, including brushless DC motor commutation.
