Hydroprocessing reactor feed is one of the most demanding pump services in a refinery. The fluid is hot, hydrogen-rich, and often carries corrosive species, while the pump must deliver high pressure reliably to protect the catalyst bed. A reactor feed pump for this duty must be built without compromise.
This integrally geared API 610 OH6 machine is configured for hydrogen service with C-276 nickel alloy wetted parts. The nickel alloy resists the aggressive corrosion and hydrogen attack that degrade ordinary stainless steels in hydroprocessing loops.
The high pressure duty demands a precision-ground gearbox and a balanced vertical rotor to reach heads to 1,100 m at low flow. A low-NPSHr inducer maintains suction stability, and double or tandem seals with a compliant barrier fluid contain hydrogen and hot hydrocarbon safely.
Every unit is produced under ISO 9001 control, dynamically balanced, hydro-tested and performance-verified. Full C-276 nickel alloy material certificates and dimensional reports accompany each pump, meeting refinery QA requirements for critical rotating equipment.
