Agaricus blazei polysaccharides are the main active ingredients extracted from the fruiting bodies or mycelia of Agaricus blazei (also known as Brazilian mushroom). They are primarily composed of monosaccharides such as glucose, mannose, galactose, and arabinose. Their structure is based on β-(1→3)glucan, and their molecular weight typically ranges from tens of thousands to millions of Daltons.
