Curcuma zedoaria extract is a natural product extracted from the dried rhizomes of Curcuma zedoaria, Curcuma szedoaria, or Curcuma aromatica, all belonging to the ginger family. It mainly contains volatile oils (such as curcumol and curcuminone) and active ingredients such as curcuminoids.
Key Characteristics
Source and Properties: The raw material is the rhizome of a specific ginger family plant. Common formulations are brown powder (proportional extract) or light brown volatile oil (curcuma oil), possessing a distinctive aroma.
Main Components: Rich in curcumol, β-elemene, curcumin, etc. Different extraction processes (such as steam distillation and solvent extraction) will result in different component emphases.
Application
