This 45° elbow is used to achieve a smooth turn in pipelines, and can generate less fluid resistance compared to a 90° elbow. In addition, we also offer 90° elbows for standard right angle turns, as well as Street Elbows with internal and external threads on one end to save installation space, to meet your diverse connection needs.
This elbow is connected with NPT (American standard pipe taper thread), with a tooth angle of 60° and a thread taper of 1:16, which can form an effective mechanical seal when tightened. This connection method does not require welding, and installation and disassembly are very convenient. It is one of the most common connection forms in industrial and civilian pipelines in North America and globally, and is highly cost-effective and flexible.
304 stainless steel (cast as CF8) is the most widely used and cost-effective stainless steel grade.
