Purpose

This rear ABS wheel speed sensor is installed on the rear axle of the bus. It continuously captures the real-time rotation speed signal of the rear wheel and transmits the signal to the ABS control unit. The system judges the wheel locking state according to the signal, adjusts the brake pressure to prevent wheel locking during emergency braking, improves driving safety, and also provides speed data for related systems such as traction control and electronic stability control.

Installation Method

  1. Confirm that the vehicle is parked stably, turn off the engine, cut off the power supply of the vehicle electrical system, and lift the rear wheel with professional lifting equipment.

  2. Locate the old wheel speed sensor fixed on the rear axle, remove the fixing fasteners, and disconnect the sensor plug from the vehicle wiring harness.

  3. Take out the old sensor, clean the mounting hole to remove iron scraps, sediment and other impurities that may affect the sensing effect.

  4. Install the new 1113775526-00 sensor into the mounting hole, tighten the fixing parts according to the standard torque, and do not over-tighten to avoid damaging the sensor.

  5. Connect the sensor plug to the original vehicle harness plug, arrange the cable reasonably, fix the wire with wire clips to prevent pulling and friction during driving.

  6. Lower the vehicle, turn on the power supply, start the vehicle, and use a diagnostic instrument to clear fault codes and test whether the ABS system works normally.

Notes

  1. Do not pull, bend or scratch the cable violently during installation, which may cause internal wire breakage and signal failure.

  2. Keep the sensor induction head clean, do not knock or scratch the metal induction end, otherwise it will affect the sensing accuracy.

  3. The sealing ring must be installed in place to ensure waterproof and dustproof performance, and prevent water and sediment from entering the sensor.

  4. The plug connection must be firm, avoid loose contact leading to intermittent signal loss and ABS alarm.

  5. It is recommended to complete the installation by professional maintenance personnel, and match the correct model to avoid mismatched accessories.

  6. After installation, road test is recommended. If the ABS warning light is still on, check the wiring and sensor installation status again.
