Installation Steps
1. Turn off the vehicle engine and completely release the residual air pressure in the air storage cylinder to ensure the air pipeline is in zero-pressure state.
2. Remove the old or faulty air pressure sensor with professional tools, and clean the thread and mounting base to remove rust, dust and dirt.
3. Inspect the new 38EUL-05001-A sensor thread and sealing ring to confirm no damage, aging or deformation.
4. Manually screw the sensor into the mounting hole for positioning, then tighten it moderately with a tool to ensure firm and vertical installation, avoid over-tightening to prevent thread slipping and shell cracking.
5. Align the 3-pin connector with the original harness socket and insert it firmly to ensure tight and stable connection.
6. Start the vehicle to inflate the air brake system, check the dashboard air pressure display and low-pressure alarm function, confirm no air leakage and system fault codes.
Precautions
1. Do not knock, squeeze or drop the sensor during transportation and installation, so as not to damage the internal precision sensing chip.
2. Installation must be carried out after releasing all air pressure; working with pressure will cause air blowback and personal safety hazards.
3. Do not use excessive force when tightening the thread to avoid thread damage, shell breakage and air leakage failure.
4. Ensure the 3-pin plug is fully inserted; poor contact will cause abnormal signal and inaccurate air pressure display.
5. Keep the sensor and connector away from sewage, oil and corrosive liquids to prevent short circuit and sensor failure.
6. Do not modify or cut the sensor plug and wiring structure arbitrarily, which will damage the original matching performance.
7. Check the sensor sealing condition and fastening degree regularly during daily vehicle maintenance.
8. Only use the matching 38EUL-05001-A sensor for replacement; mismatched parts will affect the normal operation of the air brake system.
