This 2M extended harness ABS wheel speed sensor (Model ABS-CGQ-2M) is a core sensing component dedicated to bus and commercial vehicle anti-lock braking systems. It accurately collects real-time rotation speed signals of vehicle wheels and stably transmits the signals to the vehicle ABS control unit. The control unit analyzes the wheel operating state based on the feedback signals, intelligently adjusts braking pressure, and prevents wheel lockup during emergency braking, sharp turning and slippery road driving. Secondly, it adopts a customized 2-meter extended integrated harness design, solving the installation limitations of standard short wires and suitable for modified and replacement installation scenarios. Thirdly, the sensor head is made of high-quality aluminum alloy with integrated sealing technology, featuring waterproof, dustproof and oil-resistant performance. The harness is equipped with a thickened black corrugated protective tube, which is anti-aging, wear-resistant and tensile-resistant, adapting to harsh working environments such as high temperature, low temperature and muddy roads. In addition, the product is compatible with 12V/24V vehicle voltage, with a wide working temperature range of -40℃ to +125℃, and supports long-term stable operation of commercial vehicles.

Installation Steps

1. Prepare installation tools, and thoroughly clean the sensor mounting hole, axle and gear ring surface to remove iron filings, mud, rust and other sundries.

2. Select the appropriate style (straight or elbow) according to the vehicle installation position, and put the matched metal fixing bushing into the mounting hole.

3. Insert the ABS-CGQ-2M sensor into the bushing, adjust the position to keep a standard safe gap between the sensor head and the gear ring.

4. Reasonably arrange the 2M extended harness along the vehicle wiring groove, fix the harness with special clips to avoid friction, extrusion and sharp bending.

5. Align the connector and insert it firmly, check the waterproof sealing ring to ensure tight and waterproof connection.

6. After installation, tidy up the redundant harness, fix it neatly, start the vehicle and detect the ABS system to confirm no fault codes exist.

Installation & Usage Precautions

1. Do not knock, squeeze or drop the sensor head during transportation and installation, so as not to damage the internal precision induction components.

2. Do not arbitrarily adjust the gap between the sensor head and the gear ring; too large or too small a gap will cause abnormal signal transmission.

3. Do not violently pull, twist or cut the 2M extended harness, and avoid scratching the outer corrugated protective tube to prevent wire damage.

4. Keep the connector away from corrosive liquids such as brake fluid, engine oil and cleaning agents to avoid short circuit and poor contact.

5. When arranging the harness, avoid contact with high-temperature parts such as the engine and exhaust pipe to prevent high-temperature aging and wire damage.

6. If the original vehicle fixing parts are aging or damaged, they must be replaced together to ensure stable installation.

7. Regularly check the sensor fixing state and harness tightness during daily vehicle maintenance to eliminate potential safety hazards in advance.

8. It is forbidden to use non-matching accessories for assembly, which will affect the normal operation of the vehicle ABS braking system.
