403 alloy stainless steel pipe is a stainless steel material produced according to the American ASTM standard. Its chemical composition mainly includes iron (Fe), carbon (C), chromium (Cr), silicon (Si), phosphorus (P), manganese (Mn), etc. Among them, the chromium content is between 11.50% and 13.00%, the carbon content does not exceed 0.15%, the silicon content does not exceed 0.50%, the manganese content does not exceed 1.00%, and the phosphorus and sulfur contents are controlled below 0.040% and 0.030% respectively.
Features:
403 alloy stainless steel pipe has the following characteristics:
Corrosion resistance: It exhibits good corrosion resistance in most environments, especially has good resistance to oxidizing environments. However, its corrosion resistance is relatively weak in strong corrosive media such as strong acids, strong alkalis, and seawater.
Mechanical properties: After proper heat treatment, 403 alloy stainless steel pipe has high tensile strength (≥590MPa) and hardness (HRC20 or so), and has good toughness and can withstand certain impact loads.
Processing performance: Good hot working performance, wide forging and rolling temperature range, easy to form. Cold working hardening tendency is small, and processing is relatively easy. Welding performance is also good, and common welding methods can be used for welding.

403 alloy stainless steel pipe is widely used in many industrial fields, including: petrochemical, oil refining, fertilizer, pharmaceutical, food, papermaking and other fields: used for piping systems in harsh environments such as high temperature, high pressure, and corrosion.
