This U-tube bundle is engineered for hydrocracking stabilizer feed service, a duty that combines significant heat recovery with wide temperature differentials across the exchanger. The U-bend construction absorbs the differential expansion directly, removing the expansion joint and improving reliability in cyclic operation, while delivering the 2.11 MW class heat duty the service requires.
