Butyl rubber waterproofing membrane is a single or double-sided self-adhesive membrane, mainly made of butyl rubber,
and coated on reinforced or corrugated aluminum foil. This material bonds strongly to various surfaces, perfect for color steel
tiles and roof cracks. It delivers excellent weather, aging, and waterproof resistance, effectively sealing the bonded surface.
It also offers shock absorption and protection, staying in an uncured state during its service life, thus ensuring great
adaptability to the thermal expansion, contraction, and mechanical deformation of the adhered surface. As a solvent-free
product, it doesn’t shrink or emit harmful gases, serving as an eco-friendly waterproof sealing and adhesive material.
Product Characteristics
Unique bonding creep property: Bonds to concrete, deeply penetrates concrete pores to prevent water leakage caused by concrete cracking.
Excellent mechanical properties: High adhesion and tensile strength, outstanding elasticity and ductility.
Stable chemical characteristics: Superior resistance to chemicals, weather, corrosion, and UV rays, with a service life of up to 20 years.
Easy installation, safe and eco-friendly: Free of volatile substances, non-toxic and odorless. Installable at -5°C; cold-bonding construction is safe, green, convenient, and efficient.

Construction applications
Substrate Treatment: Remove sharp protrusions and debris from the substrate surface;

Mass Installation: Align the membrane with the guide line and roll forward and outward with a rubber roller to expel air;
Overlapping: Use a pressure roller to achieve a tight overlap bond;
Detail Work: Perform detailed reinforcement in accordance with specification requirements;

Roof waterproofing, underground waterproofing, waterproofing at structural construction joints, and short edge overlap or refined treatment of pre-laid waterproof membranes;
Sealing and waterproofing of construction joints in elevated, subway, and tunnel structures within municipal projects;
Airtightness, waterproofing, and shock absorption at joints of color-coated panels and in sunshine panel engineering;
Bonding of cement, wood, PC, PE, PVC, EPDM, and CPE materials;
Waterproof and airtight treatment at joints, termination areas, and irregular sections of waterproofing projects;
Airtight waterproofing of civil residential doors and windows, shock absorption and bonding seals between floors, airtight waterproofing of ventilation ducts, and architectural decoration;
Repair of metal and cement roof leaks; Sealing at overlaps of steel roof color steel plates and lighting panels, as well as gutter joints, steel warehouses, granaries, and cabinets.
