The Midea Air Cooled Scroll Chiller range provides comprehensive cooling and heating solutions for substantial commercial and industrial facilities. Available in two distinct configurations: the high-capacity RHAE/RCAE series (90-240HA, 319.9-860kW) and the standard RHAG/RCAG series (100-260HA, 340-920kW), with both heat pump and cooling-only models to meet diverse operational requirements.
These advanced units incorporate hermetically sealed scroll compressors with Intermediate Discharge Valve (IDV) functionality, optimizing compression efficiency during partial load conditions commonly encountered in commercial buildings. The shell-and-tube water heat exchanger design delivers measurable efficiency improvements compared to standard configurations, while electronically controlled expansion devices ensure precise refrigerant flow management.
Intelligent fuzzy-logic based defrost management monitors actual weather patterns to determine defrost necessity, maintaining heating capacity even when outdoor temperatures drop to -15°C with capacity reduction limited to below 38%. Multiple units can be combined through a dedicated parallel protocol supporting up to 8 machines, while optional heat recovery modules generate 40°C or 55°C domestic hot water. Integrated pump packages simplify hydraulic connections, and optional acoustic treatment reduces sound output for noise-sensitive installations.
