Six frame thermal deformation temperature Vicat softening point temperature tester for plastic


Function:
This tester is used to measure the thermal deformation temperature and Vicat softening temperature of plastic, rubber, nylon, cable and other macromolecular materials. The main sensors and components are of high quality, high reliability and safety. The sample frame has the function of automatic lifting. Meanwhile, it is equipped with a powerful test software system, which is a set of special measurement systems for thermal deformation temperature and Vicat softening point temperature tests.
 
Test Method:

A flat-ended needle with a specified mass contacts the test specimen directly. The applied load can be either:
  • 10 ± 0.2N
  • 50 ± 1.0N
The specimen and needle are heated at one of two allowed rates:
  • Rate A: 50 ± 5 °C/h
  • Rate B: 120 ± 10 °C/h
The temperature at which the needle penetrates to a depth of 1 ± 0.01 mm is recorded as the Vicat softening temperature.
