Conical reducers for vacuum system are precision-engineered transition fittings designed to connect vacuum components of different diameters while maintaining optimal gas flow conductance. Unlike standard pipe reducers, these vacuum-rated conical reducers feature a smooth, continuous taper that minimizes outgassing, reduces virtual leaks, and preserves the integrity of high and ultra-high vacuum environments (10⁻³ to 10⁻⁹ Torr).
Manufactured from vacuum-compatible materials such as 304L and 316L stainless steel, these components are critical for vacuum chambers, turbo-molecular pump inlets, foreline tubing, and load lock systems. Each conical reducer is fabricated with strict attention to internal surface finish, weld quality, and leak integrity.
