4kW 48V Hybrid Solar Inverter with 6kW Dual MPPT and IP66 Protection
This 4kW hybrid solar inverter combines photovoltaic generation, 48V battery storage, grid-connected self-consumption and a dedicated backup output in one wall-mounted system.
Its on-grid AC output is rated at 4kW and 17.4A at a nominal voltage of 230Vac. The dedicated backup output also supplies up to 4kW for compatible priority circuits when the normal utility supply is unavailable.
The inverter accepts up to 6kW of photovoltaic input through two independent MPPT trackers. This configuration gives installers more flexibility when solar panels are divided between separate roof areas or installed with different orientations.
6kW Photovoltaic Input
The larger solar input allowance supports daytime electrical loads and battery charging when the complete array remains within the approved limits.
Two Independent MPPT Trackers
Each MPPT supports one suitable solar string, helping installers manage different roof orientations or uneven photovoltaic layouts.
Dedicated 4kW Backup Output
Essential lighting, refrigeration, routers, security systems and selected office equipment can be assigned to the backup circuit.
IP66 Enclosure Protection
The enclosure supports protected outdoor installation when mounting position, cable sealing and ventilation requirements are followed.
The MPPT operating range is 80–520Vdc, while the listed full-power MPPT range for the 4kW version is 158–500Vdc. The photovoltaic startup voltage is 90Vdc.
Maximum photovoltaic open-circuit voltage is 550Vdc. Each MPPT input supports up to 19A, with a listed short-circuit-current limit of 25A per input.
Solar string quantity should be calculated from module operating voltage, open-circuit voltage, current and temperature coefficient. Cold-weather open-circuit voltage must remain below the inverter limit.
The backup circuit should be planned around priority equipment rather than every appliance in the building. Combined continuous demand should remain within 4kW, and motor-driven equipment should be checked for startup requirements.
Battery capacity determines expected backup duration. Increasing battery capacity can extend operating time, but it does not increase the inverter’s 4kW AC output rating.
