2kWh Off Grid Energy Storage System with 550W Solar and 1000W AC Charging
This 2kWh off grid energy storage system combines a 2000Wh LiFePO4 battery, 1000W pure sine wave inverter, 550W solar input and 1000W AC charging. It is designed for selected loads at cabins, remote offices, communication stations and temporary work locations.
A larger off-grid station should be selected from a 24-hour load schedule. Record the normal power, operating period and importance of every connected device.
The 2000Wh capacity represents nominal stored energy. Available AC energy will be lower after inverter efficiency, internal demand, environmental conditions and backup reserve are included.
Base Loads
Routers, security systems, lighting and communication devices may operate for long periods and should be calculated first.
Scheduled Work Loads
Computers and selected equipment can be operated during periods of stronger solar generation or generator availability.
Emergency Reserve
Retain part of the battery energy when essential communication or safety equipment must remain available after poor weather.
The solar input accepts 12–60V and up to 550W. The panel arrangement must remain within the voltage range during normal operation and maximum open-circuit conditions.
Solar sizing should account for the energy consumed by daytime loads as well as the energy needed to recharge the battery. A system using nearly 2kWh per day requires enough panel production to replace that energy within the available sunlight period.
Shade, panel temperature, orientation and poor weather can reduce daily charging. An off-grid design should not rely on maximum panel power throughout the day.
The AC input accepts 90–280V and supports up to 1000W charging. This provides a faster recovery path from compatible utility or generator power.
When a generator is used, its continuous capacity should cover the station charging demand together with any other connected generator loads.
The supplied specification lists a 60Hz platform. Generator frequency and load frequency compatibility must be confirmed before commissioning.
The inverter supplies a rated 1000W pure sine wave output at 220–240V. Combined continuous loads must remain within this limit.
No separate surge-power value is listed in the supplied table. Pumps, compressors, refrigerators and motor-driven tools should therefore be reviewed before being included in the load plan.
USB and PD 20W Type-C outputs provide direct charging for compatible electronics, although their consumption still reduces the battery reserve.
The station integrates the battery, inverter and charging functions. Solar panels, generator equipment, extension wiring and site-specific protection are separate project items.
The unit weighs 18.5kg net and can be relocated when needed. It should remain on a stable surface in a dry, covered and ventilated location.
This system is intended for selected off-grid loads. It should not automatically be presented as a complete power source for every load at the site.
