16kWh 6kW Off Grid Energy Storage System with 9kW Solar Input and Dual AC Output
This off grid energy storage system combines a 16kWh LiFePO4 battery, 6kW pure sine wave inverter and up to 9kW of solar input. It is designed for projects that need to collect solar energy during the day and supply selected loads when utility power is unavailable, unstable or intentionally excluded from normal operation.
The integrated floor-standing structure is suitable for remote homes, farm offices, small workshops, communication sites and other locations where the load profile can be managed within the system’s 6kW output and available daily energy.
Off-grid system selection should begin with energy consumption rather than battery capacity alone. List each appliance, its normal wattage, startup demand and daily operating hours to calculate the energy required during one complete day.
The 16kWh rating represents nominal battery energy. The energy available to AC loads will be lower after inverter efficiency, internal consumption, environmental conditions and the reserve retained for important equipment are considered.
Essential Loads
Lighting, communications, refrigeration and security equipment should receive priority when continuous availability is important.
Scheduled Loads
Tools, pumps and other flexible equipment can be operated during periods of stronger solar production.
Restricted Loads
High-consumption heating or motor loads may need to be limited to preserve battery energy for essential operation.
The system supports up to 9kW of PV input with a 60–450Vdc MPPT operating range, 500Vdc maximum open-circuit voltage and 27A maximum photovoltaic input current.
A correctly selected solar array must provide enough energy to operate daytime loads and recharge the battery before the next low-solar period. Available sunlight, panel temperature, shading and seasonal weather should all be included in the calculation.
The maximum photovoltaic charging current is 120A. Actual charging power varies throughout the day and should not be calculated from the panel nameplate rating alone.
The inverter provides 6kW of rated AC output with 9000VA of listed instantaneous power. This gives the system additional capability for compatible loads that briefly require more power when starting.
Pumps, compressors, refrigerators and motor-driven tools should still be checked individually. A load with acceptable running power may have a startup demand that changes the required system design.
The two AC outputs can be used to organize priority and flexible loads. This helps protect the available battery reserve when sunlight is weak or overnight consumption is higher than expected.
A compatible AC source can support battery charging when solar production is insufficient. The AC input uses a 230Vac platform with automatic 50/60Hz detection and selectable voltage ranges for different load applications.
A generator may be considered when it provides stable voltage, frequency and sufficient continuous power. Generator compatibility should be evaluated together with any other equipment connected to the same source.
The system does not support grid-connected export. Its role is to supply local loads and store energy rather than sell electricity back to the utility network.
The IP21 system should be installed in a dry indoor or protected technical area. It is not designed for exposed outdoor installation.

Yes, when the solar array and battery capacity are sufficient for the connected loads and local operating conditions.
Runtime depends on total load power, operating hours, inverter losses and the battery reserve retained by the system.
Possibly, but the running power and startup demand must be checked against the 6kW rated and 9000VA instantaneous output.
No. Grid-connected export is not supported by this configuration.
Provide a 24-hour appliance schedule, peak and startup power, required reserve period, local sunlight and the proposed solar-panel specifications.
Send us the appliances, working hours, motor startup requirements and local solar conditions. We will help review whether this 16kWh and 6kW configuration is suitable for the site.
