SA-531 is a solid thermoplastic acrylic resin primarily composed of MMA polymer. SA-531 is a highly alcohol resistant & high tg acrylic resin with a balanced polymer structure that provides the following properties:
lHigh alcohol resistance—prevents whitening, softening, or dissolution upon contact with alcohol.
lHigh hardness and abrasion resistance—ensures durability in harsh environments.
lHigh gloss and clarity—maintains a smooth, transparent surface and preserves image clarity.
Thanks to these properties, SA-531high tg acrylic resin is widely used in:
lAppliance and plastic coatings—maintain gloss and resist alcohol-based cleaners.
lAutomotive refinish coatings—provide durability and chemical resistance. l
