SA-26 resin is a copolymer of n-butyl methacrylate, specifically designed for applications requiring high adhesion, flexibility, chemical resistance, and durability, such as aluminum heat-seal varnishes, high-gloss paper inks, and similar high-performance coatings.
SA-26 resin exhibits excellent solubility in various organic solvents, including ketones, esters, long-chain fatty alcohols, aromatics, and chlorinated solvents. It demonstrates outstanding compatibility with other film-forming resins, such as nitrocellulose, chlorinated rubber, vinyl resins, and plasticizers. This resin is widely utilized in thermal sealing varnishes, flexible leather treatment agents, and ceramic transfer coatings.
