Brief Description

A QJB low-speed submersible thruster is fitted with a large curved two-blade polyurethane impeller. Operating at low rotational speed with high thrust, it generates continuous large-volume water circulation within long oxidation ditches and large biochemical tanks, uniformly suspending activated sludge and effectively preventing sludge deposition. It serves as the core circulation equipment for aerobic and anoxic tanks in municipal wastewater treatment plants.

 

Product Overview

This low-speed submersible thruster adopts an integrated cast iron submersible motor paired with a planetary reduction gearbox, which delivers high torque output at low rotational speeds. The oversized polyurethane propeller features lightweight construction, high toughness, excellent wear resistance and anti-corrosion properties.

Compared with small submersible mixers, it delivers a longer pushing distance and covers a larger flow area, making it ideal for long-strip oxidation ditches and large sewage tanks. The fully submersible IP68 sealed structure enables 24-hour uninterrupted underwater operation. The power range spans 1.5kW ~ 7.5kW, with multiple optional impeller diameters available.

 


Working Principle

The hermetically sealed submersible motor drives the planetary gearbox to reduce speed and amplify torque, thereby slowly rotating the large polyurethane blades. A wide-range pushing flow is generated in the water body to continuously circulate the entire tank volume, maintaining activated sludge in permanent suspension. Combined with the aeration system, it greatly improves sewage purification efficiency.

Applications

Primarily used for oxidation ditches, large anoxic tanks, anaerobic tanks and aerobic tanks in municipal wastewater treatment projects. It is also widely applied in aquaculture water circulation and large-volume circulating stirring for industrial wastewater.
