Brief Description

The QJB-W submersible sludge recirculation pump is specially developed for nitrified liquid recirculation in sewage treatment processes. Adopting a low-head, high-flow design with extra-wide flow passages, it delivers reliable anti-clog performance. Constructed entirely from stainless steel for outstanding corrosion resistance, the pump allows continuous submerged operation. It is extensively used for recirculating sludge and mixed liquor within anoxic and anaerobic tanks at municipal wastewater treatment plants, stabilizing the sludge balance of biochemical treatment systems.


Product Overview

This recirculation pump features a stamped stainless steel submersible pump casing as the core conveying component. With a specific speed up to 1600, it generates massive flow at an ultra-low head (minimum 0.5m), perfectly suited for sewage recirculation processes requiring minimal liquid level difference and large circulating volume. Its hydraulic profile is optimized via CFD fluid simulation. Backward-swept wide blades eliminate narrow clearances, enabling smooth passage of solid particles and fibrous contaminants to prevent winding and clogging. The close-coupled motor-pump structure minimizes mechanical power loss and improves total efficiency. The all-stainless steel integrated design features a streamlined profile, fewer spare parts and high universal standardization. Fitted with an automatic rail coupling installation system, the pump can be hoisted out for inspection and maintenance without emptying the entire tank.


Working Principle

The submersible motor drives the impeller to rotate steadily, axially propelling mixed liquor through the wide flow channels. By virtue of its ultra-large circulating capacity, it transports mixed liquor and activated sludge from the aerobic tank back to the anoxic and anaerobic tanks to fulfill the nitrification and denitrification processes for total nitrogen removal. Its low-head design is perfectly adapted to inter-tank liquid transfer, cutting energy consumption and significantly enhancing total nitrogen removal performance.

It is also suitable for wastewater circulation in printing and dyeing, food processing and chemical industries, as well as large-flow and low-head water circulation for various water tanks and biochemical pools.
