IV. Core Functions
1. Precise Pilot Oil Filtration: Intercepts iron filings and impurities in the pilot oil circuit, protecting pilot solenoid valves, valve spools, and operation levers, preventing valve spool sticking and operational deviation;
2. Built-in Overflow Protection: When the filter element is clogged and the pressure differential exceeds the limit, the bypass valve opens automatically to ensure continuous pilot oil supply, avoiding complete machine inactivity;
3. Stable Pilot Oil Pressure: Removes fine particles to maintain stable pilot control pressure, eliminating erratic operation speeds.
V. Faults and Maintenance
Fault Phenomenon (Filter Element Clogging)
- Excavator operation hesitation, slow single action, deviation;
- Fluctuating pilot pressure, unresponsive lever operation;
- Individual cylinders inoperative, frequent valve spool sticking.
Replacement Cycle
- Normal Conditions: Disassemble and replace the built-in filter element every 2000 hours;
- Harsh Mining Conditions: Replace every 1000 hours.
VI. Accompanying Filter Elements
The assembly includes a separately replaceable filter element with part number A222100000119. The inner core can be purchased separately to avoid replacing the entire assembly, reducing maintenance costs.
