The 80% Cotton 20% Polyester Terry Fabric with White TPU Waterproof Membrane is a cotton-rich functional textile developed for mattress covers, mattress protectors, waterproof bedding, and protective home textile applications. The combination of a soft terry surface, reinforced cotton-polyester construction, and a flexible white TPU membrane provides a practical balance of comfort, moisture management, durability, and liquid protection.
The 80% cotton content gives the terry fabric a soft, natural hand feel and good moisture absorption, making it comfortable for bedding products that remain in contact with the body for extended periods. The 20% polyester component helps reinforce the fabric structure, improving dimensional stability, abrasion resistance, tensile strength, and resistance to deformation during repeated washing.
A white TPU waterproof membrane is laminated to the reverse side of the terry fabric to create an effective liquid barrier. It helps prevent water, sweat, spills, and other moisture from reaching the mattress while maintaining a flexible construction suitable for fitted mattress covers and quilted protectors.
The fabric can be processed through quilting, cutting, sewing, elastic attachment, and other conventional textile manufacturing methods. Different fabric weights, widths, terry structures, TPU membrane thicknesses, and finishing treatments can be customized according to specific mattress cover requirements.
